The Stable House

In November 2005, a new and more spacious Stable House began its use. The new space was built into a former cow house meant for cattle, which has now been transformed into a cosy space for various different types of events. It is excellent for holding parties for small groups and as space for spending an evening with friends. There is enough room for 40 people and in the summer time, the verandah with beautiful windows offers extra room for 20 more people.

In the winter time, the big fireplace offers warmth after a horseback riding trip to the cold and wintery forest which might have frozen your toes! One can also sip mulled wine by the fireplace, which is an excellent to unwind and spend a relaxing wintery day. How about doing the same by arrannging a pre-Christmas party?

The Stable House is also used for office and company events offering a relaxing spot after horseback riding, snow shoe walking, hiking or tandem biking.

On request, we offer traditional Finnish food at the Stable House. For example, it is possible to enjoy a soup or a filling salad from a variety of choices. All this is served with home baked goods such as pastries and cakes. Or if you want, we can also arrange an afternoon tea or coffee reception for people who wish to enjoy a lighter menu with sweet and savory pastries and snacks. The minimum requirement for a group size is ten people.

We also arrange different kinds of events of special occasions, such as hen and bachelor parties, of farewell parties. Let's get together to plan an eventful day with horseback riding on a real Icelandic horse, carriage or sleigh rides, all this coupled with enjoyable home baked snacks!
